Found this priceless document on a Facebook page dedicated to learning Ottoman Turkish.
The manuscript reveals that the Muslims of Burma (Myanmar) donated a sum of 220 Sterling Pounds to help the Ottoman army during the Balkan Wars (1912/1913). Most of the Burmese Muslims were descended from Indian Muslims who had migrated there after the British conquest of India. These Muslims were actively involved in the Freedom movement as also in the Khilafat Movement launched to provide socio-economic and moral support to Turkey. These Burmese Muslims had even set up a branch of the Khilafat Movement in Burma.
