Welcome!

Through this website, I wish to list articles, poems, research papers, travelogues, books, podcasts, movies, documentaries, statistics and every available form of content relating to the contributions made by Indians to the Turkish freedom movement; beginning from the late 19th Century and up to roughly 1924.

I will also be updating my blog at regular intervals, to ensure every discovery on the subject, or allied to it, is documented for posterity.

This website was created, primarily, to document my own notes,  observations and analyses which eventually went to form my thesis on the subject of Indian Contributions to the Turkish Nation, in fulfillment of the requirements for a Masters Degree in the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). My guide and coach in this endevour was the learned Dr. Arshad ul Islam, former head of department of History in IIUM.

I am glad to inform that I submitted my thesis, running into 245 pages, in August 2021 and successfully defended the same. The examiners have given 80 marks out of 100 for the thesis. I have, subsequently, received by Masters Degree, in December 2021, and have registered for my PhD. The topic of my PhD is being finalized.

This notwithstanding, I am continuing with my research on the subject and have been adding new findings in this website. I keenly look forward to receiving any historical data or documentation related to the subject from any quarter. My email is khalidchinoy@gmail.com
